Russ Sainty and Rhet Stoller


	Russ Sainty and Rhet Stoller were our special guests on 14th June 2011. They came in to promote Russ's new triple CD "Radio Play That Song Again", a 76-track box-set, also featuring Rhet. Russ and Rhet

Rhet was the lead guitarist of the Nu-Notes in the early 60's, and Russ was the singer. Rhet has also recorded solo tracks and with many other artists.

This photo was originally a black-and-white print that club members Liz and David Challis won as part of a competition prize. David has used his skills to colour it, and he's done a great job.

Russ Sainty was also a guest on 27th January 2009. Then he came down to promote his new book called 'King Of The Cali' (California Ballroom).

Club member Malcolm Minney was also in the studio, manning the phones.

Russ was also our guest on 31st October 2006, with his wife Ann.

	Russ starred on the very first night of the 59 club, which was opened by Cliff Richard and Princess Margaret. Russ talked about the old days, including playing at the famous 2-I's coffee bar in Old Compton Street.
