Cliff Bennett visited Radio Caroline on 22nd August 2006.

Cliff began his career in the Joe Meek stable, and had several hits in the sixties with the Rebel Rousers. He has continued working right through to the present day. He played many of his early rockers, and chatted about the early days.

Cliff autographed this original 45 as a prize for the competition.

Cliff is popular in Europe, and he was recently in Oslo, Norway, with Brian Poole and Peter Belli. Brian had many hits in the sixties both with the Tremeloes and solo, and Peter was especially popular in Denmark. All three are still touring today.
